What kind of reports can I create in Trivia?

You can view high-level activity on your Dashboard, and access detailed reports inside each Trivia game under Manage → Reports. Trivia allows you to analyze performance by Category, Question, and Player, and download Excel reports for each individual gameplay (show).


Overview: Dashboard Reports

To see overall Trivia activity across your workspace:

  1. Go to Trivia Home.

  2. Click Dashboard.

On the Dashboard, you’ll see:

Activity Chart: Games Played

Shows when games were played and overall gameplay activity over time.


Activity Chart: Participation

Shows how many times individual players have played games.


Game Stats

Summarizes each gameplay in your workspace, including participation and performance metrics.


This view provides a broad overview of Trivia engagement.


Detailed Game Reports

To access detailed reports for a specific game:

  1. Go to Trivia Home.

  2. Select the game you want to analyze.

  3. Click Manage/Play.

  4. Click the Reports tab.

Inside Reports, you can review:


Category Report

The Category Report shows performance grouped by Category.

Categories are typically used to group questions by:

  • Marketing objective

  • Learning objective

  • Round (for Live Trivia)

This report helps you measure how players performed within each category of questions.


Question Performance Report

This report shows how each individual question performed across all gameplays.

You can analyze:

  • Overall question accuracy

  • Which questions were most missed

  • Which questions performed best

This is useful for improving question quality and identifying difficult content.


Player Report Card

The Player Report Card allows you to drill down into individual player performance.

You can view:

  • Individual responses

  • Overall score

  • Category-level performance

This is helpful when reviewing results with a specific participant. You can see how they answered individual trivia questions.


Downloadable Reports (Excel)

To export your data:

  1. Go to Manage/Play.

  2. Click Reports.

  3. Click Downloads.

  4. Select the gameplay (show) you want to export.

Downloads are generated per gameplay instance (per show) and exported as an Excel file.

Your Excel download includes:

  • Player List (with lead capture data and overall performance)

  • Category Report

  • Question Performance Report

  • Player Activity (summary of gameplay performance)

  • Game Plays (timestamped summary of each individual player’s gameplay)

Important:

  • Reports inside the dashboard show data for the entire game.

  • Downloads are specific to each individual gameplay (show).


What Happens Next

After downloading your report:

  • You can filter and sort data in Excel.

  • Share results with clients or stakeholders.

  • Analyze marketing or learning objective performance.

  • Identify top-performing players or difficult questions.


Common Questions

Why don’t I see data in my download?

Make sure you selected the correct gameplay (show). Downloads are generated per gameplay instance.

Can I download reports for multiple gameplays at once?

No. Downloads are generated individually for each gameplay.

Do I need Admin access to view reports?

No. Reports are available inside the game and do not require special Admin permissions.
