Known Issue: Cvent has found a bug that won't let the Single Link Cards use data to log players in automatically and is actively working to solve it.
Auto-Registration and Login works for APG players that are using the CVENT platform to access the game. Here's how to set up your URL in CVENT Attendee Hub:
Adding to Cvent Attendee Hub
They need to create a page with an external link. Then they can use that link to add a Quick Link to the home screen.
1. In the attendee Hub area, in Pages - click on "+ create a page" button
2. In the pop-up window for Page type - select "External Link" and then click Next
3. Give the page a name - Probably "NAME OF GAME" and click Done
4. Then pick an icon - something that signifies game (on maybe the coffee mug in your case)
5. Then copy and paste the full cvent link provided into the URL bar. The data tag is in the URL so you do not need to add it:
Create a Quick link on the Home screen
1. In the attendee Hub area, in Pages - click on "Edit Home page" button
2. Then in the quick links area - click "+ Add Quick Link"
3. Select the Game Page from the dropdown menu and give it a short name of 25 characters or less to appear along the top of the home screen. Click finish
4. They can change the order of the quick links as well.
