We release new features and fixes every 2-4 weeks, depending on the complexity and number of tickets. Here's a list of our most recent releases and a quick summary:
10/02/2025 - Poll performance
In some instances, and under certain circumstances, Polls were not performing as fast as they should've

Prize Wheel Wizard: fixed an issue where Big Button Mode wheels were created along with Instructions, defeating the purpose of Big Button Mode being enabled
09/25/2025 - This or That monitor display
This or That got even better! You can now display everyone's responses on a large monitor or projector.

APG ID Registration - optional fields
Having a phone or email field is no longer required if you have ID Registration enabled
APG Player Deleted - kicked out of game
Fixed an issue where players deleted from APG were not being kicked out of the game
09/11/2025 - APG improvements
We wanted to make sure that we got back to our regular upgrades and APG needed a message to be displayed when a game was over.

08/08/2025 - FontAwesome and Major Secuirty Upgrade
We have now added over 30,000 new icons by upgrading to FontAwesome v7.

07/01/2025 - Welcome Screen and other Fixes
SocialPoint will now greet you with a friendlier Event Home page that tells you where to go next. We have also added some other fixes to This or That, Memory, and Categories in Participation Game.
New Landing Page - The Event Home Page has been de-cluttered and it now tells you what your next steps should be. Display Manager and Utilities access has been removed, since these features are no longer relevant to game setup.
Memory, Categories, and This or That had the fields re-organized and the boxes re-labeled so you always know what you're setting up.
Memory, Categories, and This or That now have a Preview button that will make setup a breeze.
New animations for Categories and Memories have been added so that players don't forget what their failed picks were.
SocialPoint Plan - Trivia and Prize Manager games now share the same game limit, making it easier to manage your quota.
06/19/2025 - Reports, Rewards, and User ID Registration
We have updated how you access reports and rewards in Participation Game. We also added a new way of registering/logging in to a game: User ID.
Participation Game Dashboard: Renamed to Reports and added a new tab.
New tab: Downloadable Reports - here you'll find all of your game data, including player registration information, specific challenge completions, photos uploaded into a challenge, and survey responses.
Rewards: Usability update - You can now see the Reward configuration straight from the Rewards list. You can also edit the Reward from the Edit Reward tab instead of clicking the Edit button (now gone).
User ID Registration - You can now set Registration to Email or User ID on all Participation Games.
Enabling UserID will require either Email or Mobile Phone to be active for PIN recovery purposes.
Auto-Login and Auto-Registration using third-party apps like Eventmobi or CVENT will use a new URL parameter: userid. This is automatically updated under Links if you set Registration to User ID.
05/29/2025 - New Activities for Participation Game
We launched 3 new activities for Ultimate subscriptions: Memory, Categories, and This or That.
Memory: Players get to match 8 pairs of words and get points after they've completed the game.
Categories: Match the words to their categories to get points! Failed attempts deduct points.
This or That: Pancakes or Waffles? Marketing or IT? Mayo or Ketchup? Poll your participants on what their favorite is (yes, some people dip their fries in Mayo) and get results after completing the activity.
05/01/2025 - Challenge Uploader improvements
Uploading and downloading challenges in APG is easier now!
Updated the Participation Game uploader to do the following:
Replaced Columns A and B with new, easy-to-remember values (App - Check-in, QR - Word Cloud, etc.)
Updated spreadsheet here
Essentials, Pro, and Ultimate get their own templates
Uploading challenges without an Icon is now possible, the system assigns an icon that is related to the activity (A trophy for Trivia, Camera for Photo upload, etc.)

04/17/2025 - Guess the Word!
A new activity type is now available to Participation Game! Players get to guess a word based on a clue or riddle you give them.

04/03/2025 - Improved Live Trivia Experience
Live Trivia had some delay and display issues on Auto-Play mode. We have fixed the issues ensuring a smoother experience for Event Admins and Players.

Live Trivia screens are now synced. Difference in screen transition on all devices and displays reduced to 0.3 seconds

Fixed an issue where the leaderboard display would show the results and players would still see the question on their devices
Outlook - button blocked
Outlook was blocking some of the buttons on our user management emails, like the emails admins get when they are added to an event. We've added clickable links where the issues were found.
