Messages can help you get game information to your participants. We have 4 types of Message, each one has its own characteristics and use cases:
To find them, navigate to Participation Game > Messages
Welcome Message
This message shows up for anyone new to the game. The objective of this message is to give players a quick explanation on how the game works.
To Edit the Message:
Click Participation Game > Messages
Click the Edit button next to Welcome Message
Edit any of the fields you'd like to change
Add a Featured Reward (if you have a reward set up) to engage players
You can also disable the Welcome Message by clicking the Online toggle.
There can only be one welcome message per game. It can be either Online or Offline.
New Information
This message can be used to give out new information to players about the game. Some use cases include:
Speaker information
Event announcements
Inviting players to other games/events
To add:
Navigate to Participation Game > Messages
Click the Add button and select New Information
Follow the Wizard and fill out the relevant information you want players to know
To Edit:
Navigate to Participation Game > Messages
Click the Edit button next to New Information message
Add/Remove images, details, and other information you want your participants to see
Featured Challenge
Featuring a Challenge will help you drive your audience to the right activities. Here's how to add and edit a Featured Challenge:
To add:
Navigate to Participation Game > Messages
Click the Add button and select Featured Challenge
Follow the Wizard and fill out the relevant information you want players to know
Choose the Challenge you want to be featured in the message
To Edit:
Navigate to Participation Game > Messages
Click the Edit button next to Featured Challenge
Add/Remove challenge details and other information you want your participants to see
Featured Reward
Featuring a Reward will boost participation and give your players a clear goal. Follow the instructions below to add and edit a Featured Reward Message:
To add:
Navigate to Participation Game > Messages
Click the Add button and select Featured Reward
Follow the Wizard and fill out the relevant information you want players to know
Choose the Reward you want to be featured in the message
To Edit:
Navigate to Participation Game > Messages
Click the Edit button next to Featured Reward
Add/Remove reward details and other information or instructions you want your participants to see
