Prizes are given at random when people spin the wheel, and you can disable/enable prizes and edit inventory numbers at any given time.
What information is needed to add a Prize?
Each prize has the following fields:
Required Fields
Prize Name: This is the name of the Prize. This field has a max of 150 characters including spaces.
Prize Label: This is what will appear on the slice on the wheel. This field has a max of 25 characters including spaces.
Prize Description: The description is a long description of a prize. Players will see this when they win the prize. This field has a max of 250 characters including spaces.
Quantity: This is the number of prizes that you have in inventory.
Optional Fields/Information
Prize Image (optional): You can upload images of your prizes if you wish. This is an optional field. Images can be JPG or PNG and are limited to 2MB max.
Sponsor Name (optional): If you have a sponsor, you can add their name. This is an optional field
Sponsor Image (optional): Some sponsors have a logo. This is an optional field. Images can be JPG or PNG and are limited to 2MB max.
How to add prizes to your wheel individually
1. To begin adding prizes to your Prize Wheel, select Go to Prize Manager.
2. On a previously created Prize Wheel, click Edit
3. Click "Inventory"
4. Click Prize Inventory
5. Next to the word Prizes, click the Add button.
Prizes can be added individually or by using a template to upload multiple prizes at the same time. For this example we will add them individually.
6. Enter the name of your prize. This is the name that will appear in the pop-up message when a player lands on the prize. The Prize Name cannot exceed 150 characters including spaces.
7. Enter a Slice Label for the prize. This is the what will appear on the Price Wheel slice for this prize. The Slice Label cannot exceed 25 characters including spaces.
8. If you have a prize Image or Video, add that next.
Click choose file if you are uploading a prize image
Select Video and add an embed link to add video.
9. Enter a Description of the prize.
The Description is required and cannot exceed 250 characters including spaces.
10. You have the option of including a prize Sponsor Name and Sponsor Image. These are optional.
11. You also have some setting options you can select.
If Can be won is checked, the prize can be won. If Can be won is unchecked, the prize cannot be won. This may be used if you have a large prize that you do not want to be won right away, however you still want it to be visible on the prize wheel. If the Can be won remains unchecked, no one will win the prize.
12. Enter the Quantity of this prize you would like to give away. The higher the Quantity of the Prize the more likely it is to be landed on in relation to other prizes on the Prize Wheel. When the Quantity reaches zero, the Prize Slice will remain on the wheel, but the Prize Wheel will not land on that Prize.
13. Click Add Prize to finish adding the Prize to the Prize Wheel.
14. Continue to add prizes until they are all entered.
Adding prizes in bulk by importing with Excel
1. To begin adding prizes to your Prize Wheel, select Go to Prize Manager.
2. On a previously created Prize Wheel, click Edit
3. Click "Inventory"
4. Click Prize Inventory
5. Download Excel prize template to add the prize information in the correct and prepare for upload. Or click here to download the excel prize template.
6. Add your prize details to the Excel prize template.
Do not remove or edit the field headers.
The following fields are required: Prize Name, Prize Label, Description and Quantity.
The Sponsor Name field is optional.
7. After you have prepared and saved your Excel prize template file, click Chose File and select the file you created. Then click upload prizes.
Managing your Prize Wheel inventory
Here are the steps to remove items from the wheel, add more inventory or edit an existing prize.
To edit a prize on a prize wheel
1. Edit a Prize, Select Manage on the Prize Wheel you with to update.
2. Click Prize Inventory.
3. Click the pencil icon under Actions next to the prize you wish to edit.
4. Edit the necessary prize information in the slide out screen.
5. To save your changes, click Update at the bottom of the slide out screen.
To add more or reduce prize inventory to a prize wheel
1. Edit a Prize, Select Manage on the Prize Wheel you with to update.
2. Click Prize Inventory.
3. Click the pencil icon under Actions next to the prize you wish to edit.
4. Update the Prize Quantity to the number of prizes you have remaining or wish to give away.
5. To save your changes, click Update at the bottom of the slide out screen.
To remove inventory from a prize wheel
Important: Only remove if a prize if the prize wheel is not actively being used or if no one has won the prize. If a prize is deleted after a player has won the prize, the information on who won that prize will be lost and cannot be recovered.
If the prize has already been won, it is recommended to edit the prize and uncheck the Can be Won and Visible boxes to prevent the prize from being one or being visible on the wheel. This will maintain the previous information on winners of the prize no longer available.
1. Remove a Prize, Select Manage on the Prize Wheel you with to update.
2. Click Prize Inventory.
3. Click the red X next to the prize you wish to delete from the prize wheel.
4. Confirm you wish to Delete the Prize and Players.
