Images and Videos can be added in two key locations for your challenges: above the Description and within the Instructions. Here's how:
Adding Links
Links are available to Kiosk, Check-ins, and Staff Scored challenges. To add them, head over to the Edit button on your challenge if it already exists, or do the following when adding your challenge:
On the Instructions field, click Link next to Add Media
Click the blue Add button
Your Link code will appear. Select LINK LABEL and add your own label
Now select LINK URL and add your link
In this example we want people to click the Visit SocialPoint link and be taken to our website, https://www.socialpoint.io/
Uploading Images on your Challenge Page
All challenge types allow you to upload an image by doing the following:
When editing or adding a challenge, click the Image button for Media Type
Browse your computer for the image by clicking Choose File
Select your image and then click Update
The image will be displayed above the Challenge Description in the Player App.
Embedding Images into your Challenge Instructions
Web-based images can also be added to Challenge Instructions for all challenge types except In-App and In-App Trivia. Here's how:
When editing or adding a challenge, click Image next to Add Media on the Instructions field
Click the Add button. A line of code will be added to your Description
Copy the image URL and paste it into the IMAGE URL area
Save your changes
The Image will appear on your Challenge's Instructions on the Player App
Embedding Videos on your Challenge Page
All challenge types can have a video embedded above the Challenge Description. Here's how:
Go to the video you want to add to your challenge
Click the Share button on the video
Look for Embed, select it
Copy the Embed URL within the embed code
Paste it into the Media Type field: Video
Save your changes
The Video will be visible above the Challenge Description after you save your changes.
Embedding Videos into your Challenge Instructions
Videos can also be added to Challenge Instructions for all challenge types except In-App and In-App Trivia.
To embed a video into the Instructions, you'll need the video's ID (YouTube or Vimeo). To get it:
Go to the video you want to add to your challenge
Click the address bar once to make the cursor appear
Now double-click the white space after the URL
The ID will be selected. Copy it!
Now let's add it to your challenge:
When adding or editing a challenge, look for the Instructions field
Select YouTube or Vimeo next to Add Media and click Add
A line of code will appear. Look for VIDEO_ID and replace it with the ID you copied before
Save changes and you're all set!
Once you've added the video, it will display in the Instructions area of your Challenge
