Prizes can display videos and images in two places: above the name or within the description. You can also add links to the prize description to help you drive traffic to other websites.
Adding links to Prize descriptions
To add a clickable link, do the following:
Edit or add a new prize and look for the Description field
Click Link next to Add Media
Click the blue Add button
Your Link code will appear. Select LINK LABEL and add your own label
Now select LINK URL and add your link
In this example we want people to click the Visit SocialPoint link and be taken to our website, https://www.socialpoint.io/
Adding Images to Prize Descriptions
You can add images to the Prize Description by following these steps:
When editing or adding a Prize, click Image next to Add Media on the Instructions field
Click the Add button. A line of code will be added to your Description
Copy the image URL and paste it into the IMAGE URL area
Save your changes
The Image will appear on your Prize Description once someone wins the prize.
Adding Videos to Prize descriptions
You can embed a video into your Prize Description. Just remember that you'll need the video's ID (YouTube or Vimeo). To get it:
Go to the video you want to add to your challenge
Click the address bar once to make the cursor appear
Now double-click the white space after the URL
The ID will be selected. Copy it!
Now let's add it to your Prize:
When adding or editing a Prize, look for the Description field
Select YouTube or Vimeo next to Add Media and click Add
A line of code will appear. Look for VIDEO_ID and replace it with the ID you copied before
Save changes and you're all set!
Once you've added the video, it will display in the Prize Description once someone wins the prize.
Adding Images above Prize Names
You can upload an image above the Prize Name. Here's how:
When editing or adding a Prize, click the Image button for Media Type
Browse your computer for the image by clicking Choose File
Select your image and then click Update
The image will be displayed above the Prize Name once someone wins the prize.
Adding Videos above Prize Names
You can embed a video above the Prize Name. Here's how:
Go to the video you want to add to your challenge
Click the Share button on the video
Look for Embed, select it
Copy the Embed URL within the embed code
Paste it into the Media Type field: Video
Save your changes
The video will be displayed above the Prize Name once someone wins the prize.
